"Freedom At Last" was Freedom's second album, originally released in 1969. It was only ever released in France and Germany. Stylistically, it recalled the psychedelia of the debut but also developed a heavy blues rock. During this period the band was ex-Procol Harum Bobby Harrison (drums, percussion and vocals), Roger Saunders, (guitars), who replaced original member Ray Royer, and Walter Monaghan, (bass, keyboards, vocals). They supported the likes of Black Sabbath and Jethro Tull in the USA.

The third album, "Through The Years", was first released in 1971. However by 1972 Freedom had folded.

Roger Saunders went on to do session work, and throughout the eighties was a member of Gary Glittter's band. Bobby Harrison went on to form Snafu. This double CD is a perfect companion to Freedom's other reissue on Angel Air "Black On White".
