Mick Grabham's first taste of success came in the sixties with the group Plastic Penny. After this time he went on to form the West Coast influenced Cochise. which included ace pedal steel player B.J.Cole and Rick Wills who later joined Foreigner.

During the 70s he got involved with several projects including The Guitar Orchestra, with Ray Fenwick (also available on Angel Air). Mick may be best known for his stint in Procol Harum from 1972-77.

"Mick The Lad" is Mick Grabham's one solo album that until now has been very difficult to obtain although especially attractive to Procul Harum fans. This first on CD release includes several bonus tracks which were recorded during the same period.

Featured musicians include the late BJ Wilson on drums (Procol Harum), Nigel Olsson (drums) and the late Dee Murray (Elton John Band), Pete Wingfield (piano), Dick Parry (sax) and Madelaine Bell (vocals).
