LUTHER GROSVENOR If You Dare (SJPCD360)
...once again captures both his stunning guitar playing as well as his substantial song writing as well as vocal talents

...a lot of positive things to say about this album...the arrangements, the variation from emotion laden and lead heavy 'Heroes' to softness of the second version of the title track

...devotees of his brand of unpretentious, melodic rock should find it a more than worthwhile investment...

...a solid...set of soft-rock songs
Grosvenor's first solo set for many moons harks back to the epic ballads
that characterised mid-period Spooky Tooth; stripped down but still
soaring, especially in the guitar department.
The album is pure classic rock with the keyboards that were the
foundation of both Spooky Tooth and Mott The Hoople underpinning the
tracks, and Grosvenor's guitar soaring over the top...Grosvenor gets to
play the sort of guitar that hasn't been heard since the 60s.
...devotees of his brand of unpretentious melodic rock should find it a more than worthwhile investment...
